Anyone check out this week's Billboard #1?

That'd be Modern Times, the new Bob Dylan album.  If you haven't, I totally suggest you do.  It's not Blonde on Blonde, but it's still pretty damn great.

I definitely prefer his early stuff, but it's a pretty freaking good album (as is typically expected from Dylan)

Picked this up the other day - it's fantastic.  This and his last two albums pretty much make up for his whole 80's period which even Dylan himself admits was his nadir.  He feels as comfortable on Modern Times as he did on any of his best 60's work.  His voice is shot to shit, but it's full of gravel and dust, it's perfectly suited for the blues.  He really has nothing to prove to anybody, the man's an absolute genius.

I have heard a couple cuts and like it.  Ran into them on Pandora.  Good stuff.  I will probably purchase it.

I hated the 80s crap he produced.
