Title: The Golden Compass

I just saw this and it was the biggest steaming pile of shit I have ever seen. If you hadn't read the books you would have NO IDEA what is going on or who people are or why they are where they are....the dialog was AWFUL, acting was HORRIBLE and I was cringing throughout the whole thing.

Really? I haven't seen it, but I usually have high expectations with Kidman. I assumed the writing would be crap, but the acting?

The acting from the main girl was especially horrible but Kidman's lines let her no room to act well i think
