well i quit my job earlier this month, and had another lined up. that fell through/never got off the ground (although they are only now, two months after they contacted me going through referee checks).
so being more cunning than a fox with a degree in cunning from cambridge university's school of cunning, a week and a half ago i landed a contract with
suncorp. so far so good, it's 1st/2nd level support work, which i've been doing on and off for the past 18-20 months. i start my job proper tomorrow, and hopefully will get internet access soon (hence my not being here to often).
job things aside, the rest of my time has been taken up by the girl i've been dating, who for want of a better term, is now more or less my girlfriend. so far so good. she's drop dead gorgeous, intelligent, funny, and for god knows what reason seems to dig me. and she's drop dead gorgeous. it's probably the only relationship i've been in that's started off slowly with no pressure either way. it's great to find someone who's pretty easy going most of the time and doesn't change her mood every 10 seconds. and i won't mention things best left unmentioned, but she's wearing me out (though she'd probably say it was the other way round
).
two double-oh six is shaping up to be a good year thus far, and thank god. hope it ends as well as it's started, and if not, then guess that's life kicking my arse for some reason or another.
