Title: Android Time
Post by: KnuckleBuckett on April 21, 2015, 06:05:58 AM
Just picked up a Samsung S6.

Setting it up was a snap.  Apps were a snap.  Books, podcasts, etc.  Snap.

The back is pretty but a bit slippy, so I ordered a red (fake) carbon fiber 3M back for it from dbrand.  https://dbrand.com/shop/galaxy-s6

I purchased a Moshi iVisor for the front.  Best screen protector I have ever seen.  http://www.moshi.com/film-protectors

Time to learn a whole new ecosystem.  Be interesting to see how it compares to the Apple and Windows worlds.

sweet.  I've got the S4 and still like it.  When my current plan is up (not until the end of the year) I'll probably be getting the six as well. (Hopefully the contract price will have dropped a bit by then too)

An update down the road, once you've got more used to it, would be nice :)

I really like the iVisor on my Macbook, it's worked out nicely. Not sure how you like the default Samsung launcher but I might recommend installing the "Nova Launcher". I did that on my Galaxy Tab and I like it much better than TouchWiz.

Welp so far so good.  I have my head wrapped around it pretty well.  Much easier to use than anything in the past.  Helluva screen, fast, and light as air compared to the WinPhone.  Charges really quickly on the pads.

I found all the apps I wanted initially and all but one works at least as well or better!

This thing rocks!
