Need a spare set of headphones
« on: June 10, 2013, 06:03:52 PM »
Anyone have suggestions for a pair of nose canceling over-the-ear headphones for use as a backup (leave at work) to my Bose?  Since they are backups I don't want to spend more than $100

edit: Also, noise reduction would be more important than sound quality.

I don't know if you can get active noise cancelling headphones for under $100, can you? I always found the "closed" type of headphones worked pretty well for blocking out noise. I think these were the ones I had for a long time: http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-HD-280-Pro-Headphones/dp/B000065BPB

Since then, my parents bought me a pair of Bose headphones that I really don't like. Super uncomfortable, short cable, and not sure how durable they'll be in the long run.
