There is no wand. You just put the focus on the password field and it gets filled in automatically.

... I think... I don't actually save passwords like that.

Why?

It's just as difficult as clicking the wand, right?

I think this same conversation happened recently in this forum... http://www.entropysink.com/forums/index.php?topic=6447.0

no its different. in this case i have to click the field, choose the account, then click submit. Instead of being used to one single click.

I use RoboForm.  It rocks.  I like it.  Better than the Wand.  I think the FF solution blows.

Pfft that happens regardless of the browser.  Hell at work I just got done doing a page that is IE only because it actually handled what was asked for while opera and FF did not.

I havent had this happen with opera before though. Granted im in new territory but you would THINK something as simple as a php script outputting XML would work. NOPE.

In FF, if you tell it to remember logins (and you only have one), the information is filled in when you go to the page.  All you have to do is hit the button to login.  If you have more than one login, just click in the box and type the first letter or two of the username and it'll fill in the rest once you select one from the dropdown that appears.

What could be harder?

I can't say I know of any browser that displays XML nicely without using a stylesheet.  But that is what view source is for.

FF is doing it well, so is IE shockingly. I didnt give it a SS because its only output to verify its handling the data properly before passing it to the destination.

@obie:

I click login and it tells me to under a username and password. that page only has one. And it could be easier like it is in opera. One click for single login, two clicks for multiple.
