Can you save a Word doc in .pdf?

I haven't used MS Office in a long time so I don't know if it has an exporter, Open Office has a PDF exporter built in.  I have PrimoPDF installed so I can convert anything I can print into a PDF.  It acts like a printer as far as the programs are concerned.

Well the docx I couldn't open (or at least I couldn't find a filter that opened it).  I've had problems in the past when opening a document created by one word processor in a different word processor.  Generally doesn't effect simple things, but if you start doing some complex styling things quickly break.  So posting in PDF resolves most of those problems.

Knucklebuckett on a stick:

2 parts open office
1 part ms office xp

Combine in a bowl until the office xp becomes a desireable product.

Strain .docx and toss in trash, its useless.

Place office to the side for approx 25 seconds until it becomes pdf.

Enjoy with friends.

And really the file format used for posting is important.  And I wasn't arguing about the file format for office programs but instead the format for which to post files to a group that may or may not use the same software as you.
