Chrome and The Sink
« on: November 13, 2008, 09:58:51 AM »
Using Chrome with this forum, often kills the ability to navigate this forum.  Once it "locks" you out, none of the browsers will access ES for approximately five minutes.

I use Chrome alot these days and constantly hose my access to the sink because I forget this.

Is this a bug that can be repaired?  Maybe it just isn't worth the trouble.

What are you doing when it happens?  At home I use chrome and I haven't ran into that problem.  The only problem I've found is the post preview sometimes gets screwed up if you have a one liner.

I only use Chrome for my gmail accounts (really only Google Apps ones).

I'm still Firefox.

Maybe we should update to the latest beta.

Usually I lock when I go to ...

Show unread posts since last visit.

It just cannot access ES.  Other sites are fine.  But getting back into ES takes minutes.

If you let me know which packages are running I can tell you which ones will work and which ones need to be updated or changed. I had over 50 when I went to b4

Oh and there's theme changes. Most likely you can simply modify one line for the layers in the themes xml but u may need to do a little more depending.

I figure Chrome is so new, that it isn't used to test with.
