Considering getting the wife a Wii for Christmas.

Should I do this now?  Will they run out in December?

If you're going to do it I'd do it as far out in advance as possible.  They might not run out, but they'll surely be harder to find.

Don't wait until Xmas, you likely won't get (unless they're easy to come by in your area). Around here you still have to know which store is getting stock and show up at opening time.

on the other hand there will likely be an x-mas bundle (if there's not one already). May be worth waiting a little to see what kind of deals come up.

Plus a bundle won't do u any good if you can't actually find one. If they release an xmas bundle and u wait for it there's a very good chance u won't even be able to get your hands on it. And even if you can like ethic said it will cost you more.

Target has just the consoles as well as the bundles. At least here they do anyway.

I guess it depends on what you want. A Wii with two games and a controller is going to put you over $400. On the other hand, wii sports is really the best game anyway.

It's probably not the best game, but it sure got more play time than any of the other games.  Mario Galaxy is one of the best games in years.

And as much as I hate to admit it, but I really like Wii Fit.  I've lost maybe 15 pounds in the last 3 months thanks to it.

Yea sports 2 is going to kick ass. I never got to play any of the sword fighting games but I imagine they must be pretty cool
