oby, what kind of electronic music do you like? slow and mellow? fast? hard? or just anything? for starters I'd suggest a DJ Tiesto CD (he actually jsut came out with a new one but I didn;t here it yet) - he plays straight trance...for a few years he was the number one DJ in the world.
If you prefer something harder/darker (I think you will) you should deffinately listen to some Paul Van Dyk (the current #1 DJ). I've seen both of these guys live a few times and it seems that PVD has a much bigger following in the US than Tiesto does. I gues when Americans listen to electronic music they prefer something hard and dark than mellow. If you want a great PVD set get it here

Again these are livesets and are totally legal and free for distribution. Check out some others also...if you're into Chicago House check out DJ Rush.
