Title: Volunteers to live in my horrible, EA-built world
Post by: Govtcheez on September 14, 2005, 10:36:14 PM: I'm not the first person to do this, but it's too hilarious to pass up. The long and short of it is, I will make a Sim house using The Sims 2 and populate it with you guys! There are some seriously funny things that can happen in this game if the Sims are left to their own devices, believe me.

What I need from you guys:

- 5 volunteers - anything more could get out of hand, as I'll be trying to use FRAPS to take some screenshots and post them here.
- A picture of you, if I don't already know what you look like
-There are two other categories to fill- Personality and Aspiration. Personality type is a very big deal in this game. There are five categories (all based on sliders):

Sloppy <-> Neat
Shy <-> Outgoing
Lazy <-> Active
Serious <-> Playful
Grouchy <-> Nice

The five Aspiration categories are Fortune, Knowledge, Family, Romance and Popularity. (pick one!)

I'll probably also be building another house to give our ES Sims some contact with the outside world. First 5 people to give me a picture and their stats get in!

One pic is me normal....The other is me in my Willy Wonka Pic from the summer. Not a good pic at all, but its funny. I dressed up as him every day to give awards to kids at a camp....After that first day, I added purple sunglasses...And I danced around to give them out...

I actually picked it for you anyways, because it was the only one left besides Popularity. Given that picture, I figured that was appropriate.

There's not a lot of narrative here, because to be quite honest: you motherfuckers are lazy. Without further ado: Day 1!

To begin with, everyone decided to hang out in the bathroom, because... why not? PJ, ober, stealth, and kermi all hit it off, while Thantos stands in the corner, lonely.

Eventually the homo-lovefest in the bathroom breaks up, and people start going about their day to day lives. ober and stealth remain in the bathroom to talk about smiley faces, which is apparently ober's favorite topic of conversation, since he talks about it with flipping EVERYONE. Thantos and PJ hit up the dartboard, while kermi gets lost in the front yard.

Except that they just let her walk by while stealth and ober watch some weirdass show on TV and talk about sunshine. That show was fucked up; you can't really see it, but there's a doctor pulling stuff out of a blue person. kermi is just off screen, playing with the RC car.

Keep in mind that the game takes about an hour to go through a day at normal speed, and I spent about an hour and a half writing that stuff up and taking pictures. I'm going to try really hard to get it done tomorrow, but it's very possible that I'm going to work another 12 hour day, so I might not be up to it.
