A plug for Vonage
« on: December 19, 2009, 12:55:11 PM »
we switched not long ago from AT&T for the business phone. LOVE IT!!  :dblthumb2:

Unlimited calling anywhere in the world, handles all our phone numbers, dedicated fax line, and all kinds of other cool shit costs us just under $100 a month.

The same shit with AT&T cost us $561.97 a month without taxes. INSANITY. Oh and shared fax, no dedicated.

I love my AT&T mobile account, but the landline for business is crazy.
hey ethic if you and i were both courting lily allen..... oh wait, which one of us has a relationship that lasted more than the bus ride home?

Eh, their customer service sucks balls in my experience.  Dumb as shit, even as you climb the ranks.  We still have a line though.  Have thought about switching to http://www.magicjack.com

The customer service is easily confused, but the tech department kicks ass

Steve Ott uses MJ gives it perfect 10/10.  Brett has one too.  They never use it.  Say it cuts out.  All things considered I think it pertains to the quality of the internet and attached structure more than say, a typical browser connection.

If you get one lemme know how it works out.  I am considering one for myself and Mom.

Quality definitly relies on the connection. We have a 6mb dsl connection from att and the internet always works great. But sometimes in rainy weather there is a little quality loss on the phone. For us it. Doesnt matter because all calls forward to the cell phone and we rarely call out from the office
