The only one i really agree with is SOCOM. That game is just plain great, though the second one is better.

Killzone? ... Killzone? .... That is the absolute worst action game ive ever played!!
The hitman games got boring too fast for me... its just the same thing over and over again. The GTA games are on a similiar level though they are more entertaining. Ill probably buy the PSP GTA when it comes out.

Ethic: I actually preferred SC over Tekken when it comes to mindless button-bashing fun   and I spy a GC fanboy...

Perspective: I dunno I played Killzone for the first time two days ago (just a multiplayer) and I thought it was ok. The whole thing played very sluggishly though and you couldn't really tell when you were doing any damage to the opponent, and all of the reticules are fucked. Guess that should be struck off the list.

*edit*

I guess the Hitman series are like Marmite

I liked the first Hitman, but the second one bored me a bit.

Timesplitters was pretty good on Dreamcast as well.

I still can't put BF2 down.

It's more of a Nintendo thing rather than just  GC. I've already
decided which next-gen console I'm going to buy... Nintendo
Revolution. Yup. Come on, it's able to play *every* game
ever released on a Nintendo system. Amazing. How are Sony
or Microsoft trying to improve gaming? OMGBETTERGRAFX!
Who cares. Graphics were good enough 2 generations ago.

DS is better than PSP, too.

>And Everwood is for 15 year old girls

I tried, but I don't have a comeback for that. :(

Slut.

So... Is it going to have a slot for cartridges, or what?

Understandable. You're 17. The PSX was probably the first
video game console you ever owned. I think people that
got into video games 8-bit or earlier don't really care as
much. Sure, I like pretty graphics, but more from an Art
Direction standpoint than from a technical one. I think Alien
Homonid and Viewtiful Joe are the coolest looking games to
come out in a long time. Both are side scrollers, too.

No biggie. I love you. We should be soulmates, too.

Actually the first console I owned was the grey box of a Nintendo - Zelda rocked! Then onto Sega and PSX. Don't get me wrong I enjoy a good side-scroller too - the little DOS graphics engine (2D) I'm writing is being (slowly) implemented with a Streets of Rage-esque copyright-infringement game in mind

They'll probably be downloadable from the internet or something
(from the system) through some sort of Nintendo online service. Plus,
it'll be able to play actual GCN discs.

See. Nintendo rules.

Here're some good articles

My PC's been able to do that for years.  What's the big deal?

go online via Wi-Fi connections, be able to download software from the Internet, use 512MB flash memory to save data, and feature wireless controllers. In addition, the console will boast two USB 2.0 ports.
None of this stuff is new.
