Freakin Gnome

So a few weeks ago I got the orange box, played through Portal and then through HL2.  Well I want the achivement for launching the gnome so I'm going back through EP2.  Well I left the gnome with the Vort and the chick thinking that I could get it back when I meet back up with the.  Nope, the bastards blocked my way and the gate closed for I could pick it back up.  Now I have to redo about 30 minutes worth just so I can put the gnome in a spot where I can pick it back up :(

you can probably spawn the gnome with a cheat of some sort and do it at the end of the game. Also, who cares

I ended dragging it through the game and got the achievement.
