Went to the CrossFit gym today.  Nice group of trainers and members.  I liked everyone's attitude.  Oh and my ass was thoroughly kicked by a workout that I should be able to do, as in I couldn't even finish it because I got so lightheaded.  Trainer was encouraging and knew when to just call it off.  Going back Monday for the next initial session (they have 6 initial sessions that you have to do before joining the regular classes).  The classes themselves are limited to a max of 12 people (you sign up ahead of time).

I was a little worried about driving home afterwards.  I waited until I was no longer getting lightheaded but I was still a little slow mentally.  Kinda like when you are really tired, you see everything but you are slower to respond.  Luckily it is only like 3 minutes home and nothing unexpected happened.

The place is about a mile from my place.  I think once I get past the "I'm going to die, please just kill me know" phase I might have to start biking there.

It's nice having it that close. By the time your initial sessions are up it should be getting easier. Easier compared to now anyway

Also, why isn't human nutrition simpler?  It is just chemistry right?

Has it been pretty consistent at that rate or did you get a huge drop at the start and have been losing just a little since?

Mostly consistent.  I did have a little bump this week where I went from 291 to 291.9 over three days and then went back down to 291 over two days.  Then down to 289.1 the last two days.  Some of the fluctuation is going to be just water which my consumption of has gone up this last week.  I arrange my weigh in conditions to be as consistent as possible to help avoid that issue though.

OK as long as you realize that you're going to have big time water flucuations at your size

How often are you weighing yourself?

Every 3 days.  Though after that little bump up I did two days.  Going to go back to three days.
