What's your favourite beer?

For me it's Guinness, but you really can't go past a Heineken for being a great all-rounder.  Knappstein Reserve is also bloody nice.

I prefer a nice, amber, American Lager.  (I believe you beer snobs refer to it as "piss-water")

I generally order one of these three:

Sam Adams
Sam Adams Light
Bud Light

Sometimes I'll order a Corona or LandShark if I'm in the mood to stick a lime in my beer.

I think we did have this thread before, quite recently.

I love Guinness, but I can also go with Sam Adams 'Brown ale', Killians, or Summit 'Porter' (local brew). I can't stand Miller or Bud anymore.

The nice thing about drinking Guinness is fewer people actually enjoy it so it keeps people out of your supply at parties. And the best part is watching it settle.

Note.

I don't have any use for any of my top three if they aren't off tap.  I can drink most anything in a bottle but don't get ecxited about anything in a bottle.  The exception is Heineken.  Naasty in any form (IMO).

I keep Sam Adam's, Yuengling Black and Tan, and Budweiser Select all in bottle form in my refrigerator.

I would get a kegerator and set it up properly with O Fest or Dopplebock, if I wasn't pretty sure I would quickly become an alcoholic.

I'd love to say Guiness. It looks great and they make cool adverts but alas I can't stand the stuff.

I'd have to say that Carling is my favourite.

When I travel on business to America I usually have either Bud Light or Coors Light. I find them both quite nice and the fact that they are 'Light' means I don't feel so bad about having a couple with my meal every night back at the hotel

My favs are always changing, right now:

1. Waterloo Dark
2. Red Label
3. Any wheat beer (on tap).

The Red Label comes in the original stubby bottles.

Not a big beer fan really, but I do drink an Amstel Light from time to time.  It's one of the few I can tolerate.

Beer is not meant to be in a green bottle.  It accelerates the skunking process

Yeah, but if that was all that mattered beer in cans would rock. Which it doesn't.

True.

Beer is only really as is should be when it is off tap.  Cans, bottles, paper bags, funnels, etc, just ruin it...
