I plan on picking up the Sharp Aquous 42" 64D and my brother was mentioning something about a power bar/stabilizer. Is that recommended for HDTVs or will it be fine without it?

Kermi just researched those TVs. Me too. Check out Samsung. Or at least make sure the Aquos is HDCP compatible!!!
