Well, you have to consider that generations of platforms may not always be a deciding factor.  I only play Madden on the PC but I could argue levels of changes between specific versions.

I guess what I'm saying is that we should cross that road when we get there.

Do they even make Madden for PC anymore?  I thought they stopped doing that when they stopped releasing the last-gen version

I wouldn't worry too much about it since as far as I can tell only sports games are problematic.  Basically I would say expansion pack is the same game, sequels are different games, and sports games you go with franchises so you can simply say Madden football.

Yup. Any platform is fine. Note that if a game is released on several platforms and somebody takes it on one, then you cannot take it on another. Tetris for Gameboy and Tetris for NES are "the same" for this draft.

Online multiplayer games count. Deserted just means there are no people there, not that it's all sand. You have your favorite computer setup and super fast internet (unless you don't want super fast internet because it will make it harder to play with other people). Basically, assume you have the optimal setup for each game you pick.

In fact, don't get hung up on the deserted island thing. That's just a gimmick. If you like a game because it's fun to invite a couple of friends over to play with, then draft that game.

By the way, if anybody wants to chime in on 8 or 10 rounds, feel free. If we get more people I'll make it 8, but as of now we have 10 players so let me know if you'd like 8 or 10 rounds. I don't want to go down to 6 and 12 is too many, and it should be even to be fair.
