took me a while to get through it. It starts off really, really strong. the middle is average and a little boring, and it finishes in a ridiculous fashion. Interesting concept. Many twists that I did not expect at all. I will watch season 2 when it comes out, to see where the story goes.
I started watching it because it stars the main actor from the Viking series on History Channel - I really liked him as Ragnar. He doesn't do it for me here, however, I think that casting was a mistake.
