The Witcher

Second season is out and we're pretty hooked.  Just finished it tonight.  They keep the twists coming and although it is a little hard to follow sometimes, it's pretty interesting.

I also just bought the game on Steam.  Never played it before and the show got me interested.

I tried it, but couldn't get into it - in theory, I should love it. I might have to give it another shot
Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

It's a little slow at the beginning.  Character development takes some time and they really don't explain a lot.  We had to google some stuff.

How'd you find the game?  I really enjoyed it and it was the first witcher game I've played.

I played about 30 min... probably would have been less but I couldn't exit/save until you get past the training stuff.  I don't know if I'll continue.  I found it to be really frustrating and sooooo much dialogue.

Yeah, it is a pretty heavy storytelling game.  The combat was fun but wasn't the main focus most of the time.

Yeah I thought I'd be doing a lot of fighting and magic and shit and it just seemed like I was listening to it happen and randomly doing some nonsense.
