I'm assuming axon and Perspective are still in. I'm hoping micah and PJ change their minds. I'm really hoping other people decide to join first and drop out later if they don't like it.

I've decided to allow late entrants at any point in the first 8 rounds, you just have to wait at least one full round before you can pick (and at that point you can make up missed picks).

Basic rules are like the last draft. You have 24 hours from the previous pick to make yours, after that the next person is allowed to go (and has 24 hours). Weekends don't count. You only get the 24 hours if you're up to date on your picks (if you miss one then yours turn are "skipped" until you make them up, but you can make them up at any time).

Pick any movie you want that was released in theaters or on DVD. Movies originally released separately are separate movies. If you have a question about the rules ask it here or send me a PM if you don't want your pick divulged.

How are movies identified? we shouldn't allow people to pick the "extended edition" or "digitally remastered version" of a movie that's already been picked. And what about remakes (like Oceans 11)? Do they count as separate movies or the same?

If you have time you can look at the rules in the first post for more details. Once one edition of a movie is picked, the others cannot be picked. Remakes are separate movies. (Edit: Re-releases are not.)

No categories. Just try to build the list you'd like on your island. If you only like kung fu, feel free to take 16 kung fu movies. If you have a more eclectic mix, then change it up.

I'd suggest considering taking more popular movies (or movies you'd expect to be popular with this crowd) earlier, since once somebody else takes a movie you cannot have it. You can decide to pick movies based solely on what you like, or you can try to build a list that others would like and would do well in the competition. It's all up to you.
