OMG WTF IS THIS?
<li><a href="home" onClick="return getPage('home')">Home</a></li>
<li><a href="bios" onClick="return getPage('bios')">Bios</a></li>
<li><a href="setlist" onClick="return getPage('setlist')">Set List</a></li>
<li><a href="played" onClick="return getPage('played')">Previous Gigs</a></li>
<li><a href="contact" onClick="return getPage('contact')">Contact</a></li>
Thats just wrong on so many levels.
no wait, i can explain!!!!
the onlick() calls an ajax function that loads the page content. That way the user never really leaves the index page (and the stupid music player keeps playing while the user navigates)
that said, if the user does not have javascript turned on (or is a search-bot) the javascript function obviously wont work and they will follow the link
the .htaccess file converts the "keyword" in the url to /index.php?pageID=keyword and then is used to load the proper page content.
