pickles do add a bit of freshness and crunch to a lot of dishes... like tuna salad.  Mashed potatoes though, that would be a little interesting.

What the hell? You put pickles in your mashed potatoes? I guess pickles/relish in potato salad means it might work in mashed potatoes, but what would possess you to do that (other than confusing dill with dill pickles)?

I put pickles in alot of things. Grilled cheese, coleslaw, on pizza, etc. Anytime i go in a deli i buy one of those big ones and eat em. I dunno it was just something to try. I also reccomend mustard on pizza or peanut butter and mayo on hamburgers.
