Surely they can see that to do this would conflict entirely with the purpose business in a capitalist society. I love how the environmental solutions of one year are the capitalist exploits of the next. Fish farming, carbon offsets, biofuel...the list is endless.
The real problem our earth faces is over-population. The population of our planet has doubled in the last 50 years. I find that absurd and somewhat frightening! The resources required to support this population boom is central to any environmental issue you care to mention. I think, if they want to solve this real underlying problem, they should go first
