Got like 90% on rotten tomatoes, but I wasn't all that impressed. I'd just barely give it a thumbs up. The idea was interesting, but there were two directions it could have gone in but instead developed neither direction very well. There was the action/suspense type part of his mission, but that sort of resolved without as much intrigue as I would have liked. Or they could have spent more on the sci-fi part of it, but that, too, was just glossed over. There just wasn't any meat here.

Agree with that assessment, it could have made a really interesting mystery sci fi movie but instead they went with a superficial romantic philosophy movie.  5/10

this is the second movie we saw his weekend...and I share your feelings about it. I think that the initial idea was very interesting and it had the potential of being something great but turned into just meh...nevertheless, I saw the whole thing and didn;t get too bored so 6/10
