Similar to the other thread, but the opposite.  What are movies that you have to watch if you ever see that they're on TV

Last time I saw Red October I actually changed the channel because I remembered almost every line and embarrassed myself thinking about how often I used to recite them as a kid

I don't rewatch a ton of movies either.  That's the big reason I stopped buying DVDs

I'm sort of like that... my in-laws *love* re-watching movies. They constantly just put on whatever movie they can find that they know they like but don't necessarily pay attention to it the whole time. That never worked for me. And I've never had the desire to actually start a movie I've seen before.

But when I do channel surf and certain movies show up, I can't help but leave them on or keep going back to them.

It really depends on the film and why I'm rewatching it.  Like, I'm not going to rewatch The Expendables (which I really did enjoy) because it is just a summer-blow-shit-up movie.  I've rewatched Fight Club several times because there are things you don't catch in the first few viewings and there is deeper meaning you can ponder.


Oh, one I'll rewatch:  The Princess Bride!

I dunno... just whenever it's on I tend to watch it. I'm sure that might be the case with other similar movies, but those aren't on as often.
