Title: Old Guard

We turned this on, on a whim. We were not expecting much - I actually told my wife to give this a chance for 5 minutes and if it doesn't draw us in we'll switch to something else. But it did suck us in. Super interesting concept - I can't say too much without spoilers though. The punishment one of the characters received at the end of the movie got me pondering things like that for a while - I couldn't shake it. It was incredibly cruel - I think.

We really liked it. I thought it had some promise for a sequel too.

I really like Theron as an action star. Aeon Flux, Atomic Blonde, etc. So that might bias my opinion a little bit.

there is no doubt that there will be a sequel. And I agree on Theron :D
