I now use Vim for almost all of my programming outside of Java and Python.

Vim is awesome.

Ahem...

I meant, I love Joe's Own Editor for my editing needs when using Unix or Linux. I have not yet seen Vim's light.

I used to use VIM, but then I found out the hard way that it'd add a blank line to the end of all the files, but not show it in the editor.  Which can be bad, very very bad.
