Would love to play you guys for bragging rights. Not that I mind gambling a few dollars, I just don't want to have to set up something to transfer the dollars around.
If there was anyway to setup a Esink game I'm in
i play on pokerstars.com ill have to see if i can make a table for us. No limit, of course :P
Yeah I'd be in on this too. I have a Full Tilt account but have been meaning to sign up on Poker Stars.
When we play I've got dibs on sitting to RoD's left.

it's so creepy that you remember old threads
I remember everything that I haven't forgotten.

What I can't believe is that it's been over three years since this conversation. Seems like it was just a few months ago.

I was gonna sign up for PS but I'm wondering if there's any bonus codes I should be putting in to get extra stuff or bonus deposit money or something.  cshot you seem pretty into this, are there any "best ones"?

I use to hop around to different casinos through www.pokersourceonline.com

They give you rewards for signing up for different casinos through their site. As long as you never had an account (including free ones) through these sites, you would qualify as long as you deposit and play a minimum number of raked hands. I got about $1000 worth of goodies from rewards sites like these. There's stuff ranging from free poker chips to Best Buy and Amazon gift cards. Worth checking out if you are planning to play online anyway.

Do these sites let you gamble with money?  Or is it for entertainment and they make their $$ off of advertisements?

From SA:
Quote
Q. How do I deposit online?

A. If you're based outside the US, Neteller is still the main deposit option. If you're in the US, all the popular options like Neteller and Firepay are no longer available. You also cannot use credit cards or paypal. https://www.epassporte.com/ is one of the more popular choices, with http://www.mywebatm.com as an alternative, otherwise it is best to check with whatever poker room you wish to deposit with, and see what deposit options they have available. Many people have had success with buying a prepaid VISA card from GiftCards.com, Gift2Go.com, PrepaidVisa.com or even your local gas station and use them.

Wow.  I am guessing this is a cat and mouse game that is constantly changing to keep ahead (or around) of the State and Federal laws.

It sort of sounds like that, doesn't it

I've never played for money online but I know a lot of people that do, and I think a lot of this stuff is just loopholes that the law has failed to close either because they are retarded or they don't care.  Right now the law basically dissuades people like me from playing - I'd like to gamble online but I'm not comfortable jumping through a million hoops to do it.

They allow both. Most of their ads, at least when I used to play with play money, were just to try to get you to use their real money options, so I don't think the free stuff is for revenue but rather to drive people to use the real gambling site.

Yup that's pretty much the point. Get you to play with real money so they can make more rake (their cut of each poker pot).

The site I mentioned earlier is a rewards referral site. The casino pays the website for every player they are able to refer. The site then gives some it back to you through rewards gifts.
