A Norwich Christmas
« on: December 19, 2005, 10:40:50 PM »
I just finished the first rough mix of a Christmas CD I'm doing for my dad, step mom and friend. I recorded them a week ago and I've got the rest of the week to mix 9 songs and burn a bunch of CDs.
This is the first track. I'm hoping to get one or two done a night over the next couple days and finishing whatever's left on Friday (day off).

Take a listen (pick your format):

Hi tgm. I'll take a listen once I'm on my other machine - no .ogg player here.

Just as a matter of interest, why the title. I'm spending Christmas in - wait for it - Norwich!

They do a lot of church stuff together and call themselves 'The Norwich Singers'. They have business cards and everything printed up. I'm not sure where the name came from but they all know the song "Bells of Norwich" and that may have been an inspiration.

It's "finished". I'm mostly happy with it but there's this drone sound in the low mid that bothers me but I'm not sure how to Eq it.
Anyways, let me know what you think. I learned quite a bit this first time so I'm really anxious to get critiques on it from the record forum folks.

Merry Christmas all.
