I really want to buy an ebook reader but theyre really hard to find. I was wondering if buying a PDA to do the job would be advisable? Im thinking it may not be due to battery usage and the type/size of screen. Any thoughts?

Battery life isn't bad but the screen size can be a pain for reading anything remotely long.
