Crysis Released

And owned.

I picked it up tonight.

Played through the demo part and into the next mission.  Plays great.  Smoother than the demo with more stuff cranked to medium.  Also better graphics and sound than the demo.  Physics are really a blast!

Great gameplay so far....

Gonna get it this morning after staying up till like 2am playing the demo.

I'm still trying to lob a guy into another guy... I can't aim people for shit.

Eventually you can equip the people with a laser scope.  Much easier to aim then.

After playing it pretty much all day, I've decided the only thing missing is a knife / other bladed weapon. Throwing knives would be neat.

Don't know why there isn't one (or maybe I just haven't found one). Maybe knives aren't 2020 enough. Or too Predator-ish.

I totally agree.  A knife would be perfect when cloaked.

Been in the artifact yet?  Sheesh what a pain in the ass.

I've just taken out the two (well, three eventually) AA guns. When those dudes got frozen in the research dome, did your fps suddenly halve? I don't think my system is going to agree with the ice dome part of the game...

I have had a couple of pauses, but they are rare and brief.  They do not cause any gameplay issues.  My PC is really getting old but I am enjoying the game so far.

Same here - I usually get pauses when I use my binoculars (esp. over a long distance) and then there's the occasional stutter.

I was going to say something else but I can't remember it...
