I'm honestly curious as to why RoD only gave it a 6/10. Unless you hate Kevin Smith, I don't see how you can give it that low of a rating.
Im not sure who's fault my rating is. I would say Seth Rogan but who knows if he had any hand in the writing. Seth Rogan is hysterical, and he did an incredible job with Superbad. I would even say that Knocked up was almost as good as Superbad. The problem is that Rogan is really stretching himself thin with all the movies he is doing. Although Observe and Report looks funny.
The reason for the low rating comes mostly from the first like 20 minutes of the movie. It started off really slow and alot of the comedy felt forced or oversold. Like i just couldnt get into the movie at all. I was so bored i called a buddy who watches every movie on the planet it seems and asked if he ha seen it. He said to hang in there becaus the movie gets good, so i did. Otherwise i may have turned it off.
Thats why i rated it low, because the beginning of a story is important and i dont think this one delivered that.
