two displays and quickbooks
« on: July 13, 2010, 08:18:53 AM »
I hope one of you guys might have some insight into my wife's problem. At work she is on an XP display and uses to displays. She gets the second display by using a usb2VGA device made by startech.com

Ever since the company switched to quickbooks, the second screen is giving her some problems - but only when using quickbooks, everything else works fine. Their IT guy is not too bright, so his solution: turn off the second display permanently.

They use quickbooks enterprise ed 10.0

any ideas?
Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

I've never seen a piece of software affect the ability to use 2 monitors.  I'm guessing by the hack job you describe, she's not using a docking station?  I'd see if there is a new driver for the video card for starters.
