So downtown San Fran is one of the worst big city downtown's I've been too. Not impressed at all.

I played hooky yesterday, rented a car and went across the bridge. That's where things got significantly better! I pretty much hit most of the places that were listed in the article I linked to above. I'll post some pics when I get home.

Your phototraces link looks cool but is pretty much all around the Golden Gate Bridge. I don't know that I'd spend that much time there unless you love beaches and beautiful scenic views.

I think if I had a couple more hours I would have went more North to Muir Woods.
