Recent movies I've seen

Seen three movies in the past couple of weeks, all excellent.

Borat: 9/10 Funny as hell
Babel: 8.5/10 Would have been higher, but I had a couple of gripes. Still a well-made movie.
Casino Royale: 9/10 Again excellent, best of the recent Bond movies by far in my mind. Only complaint is that I'm still having trouble picturing Daniel Craig as Bond, it looks like he got hit in the face by a truck. But I'll get over it.

Anyone else seen any of these yet?

I haven't seen any of those yet, i don't get out much.

Borat looks stupid as hell.  The concept was funny when I was 8 and the show was called "Perfect Strangers"

Haven't heard much about Babel.

I do want to see Casino Royale.  I love Bond flicks!

I've seen Bond it was excellent, dragged its feet a little towards then end but an excellent reboot of the bond series.

Not heard of babel.

Borat, haven't seen it, not likely to. Sacha Baron Cohen is very funny but I find him too cringworthy and annoying in periods of more than 5 minutes.

I went to see Borat with a friend yesterday.  I didn't really want to see it, but it was the only thing starting when we got to the theater, and it was only $4.  Definitely got my money's worth - funny as hell movie.

Casino Royale was pretty good.  I don't think "hit in the face by a truck" is the correct way to describe him, but one of my friends cannot wait for the next one to come out with him.  :D

I also saw Happy Feet last night.  It was very cute, but also very strange.

Yeah, I don't quite get it, my wife and all my female friends think hes hot but all my guy friends agree with me :dunno:

I don't think he looks that terrible, but I do think he's a kickass actor, so that's all I'm looking for from him.  He was awesome in Layer Cake.

I saw The Prestige last night.  It was pretty cool, but thinking about the twists too much made me a little angry.

God, I've heard a thousand people say that, but I never get around to watching the damn movie.  I've had it sitting on my hard drive for weeks now.
