I'm getting a bit worried about university applications....I've applied to 3 universities but haven't heard anything back from any of them, whereas other people I know have already gotten packages sent to them saying they're accepted and everything.....I'm getting a bit worried that I might not be accepted anywhere  :(

Is it normal to not really hear anything from universities for a while..?

Um, I've heard from all six and most of my financial aid.  It's the 15th today...unless you applied rolling, I'd give the offices of admissions a call.

I hate to say it... but that's probably true.  I knew in February and I applied in October.  When did you apply?

Call the admissions office - at least they'll be able to tell you for sure.  If they're on the fence it may even show them you're really interested and they'll let you in.

LAST MONTH???  Normally, you should have your applications in by December at the latest.

I'm in Canada, btw.  Application deadlines were end of April and most people send them in late Feb or March.  I had to get all my money organized and was only able to afford applying to two universities..

I guess it's their way of weeding out only the people who REALLY want to go to a particular university.  I can't really say I agree with that...Because I mean, especially in my case, if I don't get accepted to these two, I'm completely screwed until winter...*pulls hair out*
