Tiger Woods 10 - Wii
« on: June 12, 2009, 04:34:55 PM »
Just picked it up and it's pretty fun. I got the bundle with the motion plus adapter and I must say it drastically reduces my skills. The thing is WAY more sensitive, it's a pretty good addition.

I'll be working my way through all the features later this weekend.

I just got this for the 360 today.  It's addictive as hell, but I'm pretty terrible so far.  I'm not that much better in this than I am in real life, except I hit the ball a lot farther in this than real life

I've "progressed" to about par average now on the advanced controls. The sad thing is I'm not much better on the standard controls. On TW07 I used to be able to shoot in the 50's. I think I might try the beginner controls.

What's the difference?  Apparently the problem for me was that I was too sober.  I've been doing about a beer a round and now that I'm a little buzzed I shot a 65 on the last round.

sup knuck

This game owns.  I just hit a 47 foot eagle putt on 18 at Pebble Beach to tie for the tournament win with Tiger (somehow I won even though we were both -24 for the tourney).

I was thinking about it this weekend. I've got the weather enabled too but have yet to be able to play a course that wasn't sunny.

Well here's your chance.  Sounds like it's pouring out there.

Do you have to play each round on the correct day?  I really want to do this but I'm not going to get home until like 9 tonight.

I don't think so, I think you just have to play them all by the time they finish. But maybe you do have to play one round each day.

I'm still having a hard time with the Wii motion plus play. I'm getting better but at least one hole a round I end up 5 putting or something stupid.

I end up cheating and putting the all-play mode on to get me close again and then switch it back. That usually only takes a hole or two.

What difficulty and clubs are you using?  I just moved up to pro yesterday and bought an advanced driver with the same results you were talking about.  I was driving a lot further but any deviation in my swing gave me a horrible slice (my front nine in one round went birdie birdie par triple bogey par double bogey eagle par par).  I went back to an intermediate driver and was much better.
