Font Help?

I'm thinking of going rogue and dropping a logo that we've got going on our app and simply going with plain old text instead. I like the look of this logo but I don't know about the white border. The font however, looks very nice to me. Anyone know what the font is or what a similar (free) font might get me close?

Oh, and bonus props for anyone who can find a GIMP tutorial on how to do the white text border concept.

Oh and I think I found the answer.

I think http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/CartoGothic-Std will work. Museo Sans look like a candidate too.

I used this to get close and then find an alternative:
http://new.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/

Nifty tool.
