iPods are for trendy fags

/thread

i hate people who use the word fag like that. call these ipod people who they are: busy people who don't really care about shopping around for a better deal.

Thats why ive avoided ipods for so long. I don't like the trend around them. But with populartiy comes great linux support.

mass storage devices have great linux support too

If someone gave me an iPod I wouldn't knock it back, don't get me wrong, but they're overrpriced and poor quality.

My Ipod mini has served me well for several months now. Never had a problem with it and it's in as good condition as the day I got it.

I never would have got it if I hadn't left my cd player on an airplane, though...

Depends on your definition of great support. Being able to mount them is one thing, having apps like gtkpod is different.

Also, the prices in the link i posted were in canadian dollars, and I get around %10 off at my school bookstore. Overall the nano was the price vs size/features. I picked one up today.
