Topic: Treo 700w

I've been waiting for this thing to come out for a little while now. I've been wanting to change cell service and a guy I work with has a treo 600. I'm thinking of getting rid of my Sony Clie TJ37 and getting this thing instead. Then I can collapse my personal deivces down by one or two.
Anyone have any opinions or may be interested in my Clie? PM me about the Clie if you're interested.
I'm going to go play with the device tomorrow at a Verizon store and see what it feels like in person.

your better off going to sprint and getting a treo 650

My dad has a 650 - he's rather disappointed with it.  It goes into sleep mode randomly and he's had to do some hard resets for stupid reasons.  Hopefully the 700 will be better...Also, the 700 has WiFi which the 650 does not...

Course you're best off buying a Sprint 650 from Steve at radioshack so he can get a commission.

i hate the whole treo lineup and i spend 90% of my day talking people out of those junkers to be perfectly honest lol. I'd rather have a 350.00 sale on something like my sanyo 9000 then a 600.00 sale on one of those things lol.

Well, it looks like the price just got jacked up. Not sure what's going on with that but I've been thinking about going with a xv6600 (PPC-6601). What I'm really looking for is a PDA smartphone but now the $500 price of the 700w seems a bit high for the features.

It's a bit "old" but what's the general opinion of the 6600?

actually its a pretty solid phone. Not alot of issues with them, pretty well rounded when it comes to features, and a pretty fair price. I'd suggest that over the treo anyday of the week.
