Title: Splitting a CVS repository
Post by: hans on October 23, 2008, 04:25:35 PM
Our source repository has grown rather large and many of the projects are no longer under development. The original layout was one large CVS repo and I'd like to split it up for easier maintenance/smaller size for backups. I think we're going to be moving to Mercurial soon but I need a solution for the mean time.

Anyone ever split up a CVS repository before? Warnings? Helpful hints?

I hate CVS. More trouble than it's worth. I use git where I want version control
