Can anyone tell me what the data center setup looks like for service providers that allow for "virtual" hosting (e.g. root access and 256MB dedicated RAM)? What hardware are they running as the host? What is a typical setup? How many virtual machines are they running per box? etc etc?
Any good links stumbled upon would be good too.
