Phone problem
« on: March 29, 2008, 12:27:43 AM »
I tried to delete an appointment on my smartphone (Cingular 3125) tonight, and it wasn't working properly. As far as I can tell, it's acting like the top-left button is depressed even when it's not (and it feels normal when I press the button). Otherwise, everything seems to be working properly.

The phone got a few raindrops on it today, so I'm wondering if that's the problem. Anyone had this kind of problem before? Maybe I'll just leave it off and it will work tomorrow?

Probably time for a new phone, but I thought I'd ask anyway...

Is there a hard reset ability?

Well after calling to see if it was under warranty (it isn't) I handed the phone to my friend to show him the problem. He pressed the button and it worked.  :dunno:

Guess I'll wait and see if it keeps working.
