Topic: What is this effect called?

i found my font and get that part done. i need to get this onto the black background with the shadow/outline effect. im still playing with it because i wanna learn, but i havent got it yet

I FUCKING GOT IT HAHAHAHAHA.

I'm going to ditch the A in the center idea, its too much on the A. My buddy decided he wanted a card look, so this is where i am so far. Going to do some more, crop it down around the border, and probably give it a tilt or something. man i feel so good now. as lame as this thing is, its a hurdle jumped for me

im actually having fun now hehe. yes that is the jack daniels bottle graphic LOL...gotta alter it a bit and take the shitty "look" out of it.

You need to outline the Spade symbol in white I think.

i did on my first draft, and i sent a pic mail to my buddy and he said the outline made it "not dark enough". hes pretty much happy with the latest touch ups so i moved onto his website design.

i cant complain, i have a new phone in the mail. brand new storm on his company account, unlimited everything, no cost to me. something to be said for good partners
