Creme Brulee
« on: January 27, 2019, 01:03:22 PM »
So this is Nicole's favorite dessert and when we got married she added the ramekins and torch to the gift registry.  Well, I finally got around to getting the fuel and making these this month.  Holy cow are they easy.  Sugar, egg yolk, heavy cream, and flavoring - bake - chill - add sugar and torch - chill and then eat.

This is definitely one of those "looks more fancy than it actually is".

I ordered one of these with the 'seasonal' flavor at a restaurant recently.  The seasonal flavor?  Chocolate.  Motherfucking fail.  It was like eating chocolate pudding with black ice on top.  No bueno.  Give me the original any day.

Chocolate isn't even seasonal unless they mean all seasons
