I had a work laptop with the old company that I really liked. Small, lightweight, 10hr battery - since we just got new computers from the new company I offered my ex-boss $200 for it. I pretty much shoved the money in his hand and he said ok.
This same laptop (with less ram) is selling for ~$500 on ebay. So I think I got a pretty good deal.
My wife's Frankenstein desktop is beginning to give out and now, with the baby coming, she will be working much more from home - so this will be great! :)
It is a Dell Vostro 1400 Core 2 Duo.
