Think I tried the trial version awhile back.  Never needed it.

I'd try an updated one.  A lot of things have gotten much better.  I ignored it the first time I tried it as well.

I agree mike but it has alot of things i really like. If i screw up, it tells me right there. Shortcuts for functions, and the ability to click the bottom right and see the directory is awsome. Got to remember im coming from a DW/Notepad combo to me this is heaven
hey ethic if you and i were both courting lily allen..... oh wait, which one of us has a relationship that lasted more than the bus ride home?

quick table/css question: How can i make it so the table scrolls left to right to allow the clubnames to be on one line?

Ober is just sensative about his subpar PHP skills ;)

Say it with me now:  Horizontal scrolling is bad m'kay

I would try adding "white-space: nowrap;" to that cell and have it collapse something like the event down.  Honestly that area is so small a table is a really bad thing to use.

I've never claimed to be on your level... but I can hold my own.  Just because I use an IDE doesn't make me a bad coder.  If nothing else it saves me time.

the nowrap worked great, but poses a new question. Can i limit the amount of characters allowed in the table? I was thinking to take the $event row and use (i think) substr to chop it to the desired max before i output it to the table. thats the only one i really need to be worried about so i dont see any reason to do the other.

They are really starting to piss me off. They want it to be up to 200 characters because they want to allow each event to use 5 lines inside the table.....so no whitespace isnt going to work....fucking annoying

If you do that then I'd provide a link to a page that has the full listing.  And if you wanted to limit the amount of characters shown I'd use substr like you said.
