Unless you are surfing porn on a public computer what is the big fucking deal?  OMG I, like the vast majority of males with computer access, look at porn.  Wow what a fucking surprise.

And you, unlike some of us old married folk, apparently don't share your computer with anyone else.

So you have to keep your porn a secret from your wife?  That is pretty sad man.

Besides anything that still allows the police to get it (presumably off of the computer itself) is still wide open for others to look at.

I would hope it is less for partners and more for children that may share the PC.

Bingo.  I've watched porn with my wife... so I'm not exactly hiding it from her.

Since you mentioned marriage it is only logical to assume the other person was the spouse.

Have you ever heard of this great thing they call user accounts and passwords?

From what the article mentioned it really isn't keeping it off of your computer, just hiding it from the browser and not sending out referers

Actually, it is keeping it off the computer... it doesn't store history, cookies, etc. when you have it turned on.

And fuck user accounts... you think I'm going to store 30 gig of porn in "My Documents"?

No... that is what the "My Porn" folder is for...

Edit: And seriously, you don't use multiple computer accounts?  Just from a basic ease of computer use I'd think you'd do it.

Oh and the article mentioned
Quote
Although casual users cannot see the previous user’s search history, authorities such as the police will be able to access it if necessary.
Which means it is either being stored somewhere or being transmitted somewhere.

I think there's a difference between watching pr0n with your spouse and lurking about the internet for hardcore S&M.  A spouse may not have a problem with some material, in the context of the bedroom, every once in a while... but that doesn't mean she's cool with you surfin' for jailbait or 2G1C when she's not home.

I think its all about intent.

I know you were serious, but twice I laughed out loud.  Great wording!
