The colt .45 1911 was the longest used firearm ever in the military. It is a solid gun and no surprise at all.
hey ethic if you and i were both courting lily allen..... oh wait, which one of us has a relationship that lasted more than the bus ride home?

The surprise was when they went to the beretta. I shot both guns, and prefer the 1911 also. I always wanted to get a competition style 1911, but at this point i think I'm done buying guns...

I still do not own a 1911, and #2 on my buy list is the exact gun the thread is about. Such a great shooter.

They went to the Beretta 92F, correct? That is a solid and nice shooting gun, but it doesn't stand up to the Colt.
